For nearly half a year, I've been the Lead Character Artist at Breadwork Games, working on an adventure dating sim called Bardic: Quest for Love.

I've had a blast working here, and it was fun to try on a new art style. Here are just a few examples of all the artwork I've done so far!
Junia Expressions Sheet: A rogue with a sharp dagger and sharper tongue, but a soft heart. Unbuttoned collar and leather.
Lark Expressions Sheet: An artificer, fired from her job because of her explosive(s)... personality. Sunglasses and goggles.
Abigail Expressions Sheet: A paladin on city watch, still coming out of her shell. Tied up red hair, full armor.
Vinny Expressions Sheet: A druid new to the city, capitalism, and carnivores. Yellow top with a scarf and gloves and antlers.
Dante and Basti special poses, Glasses outfit change. Explanation: special poses and outfits were needed for storytelling.
NPC lineup: a squirrel (King), George Washington, a city guard, bad parents, lackeys, Elvis, dojo leaders, goblins, & referee
Senior Thesis "Stray" Turnarounds

During my education the last year and a half at Chapman University, I worked on my animated senior thesis dubbed "Stray" after the stray dog my robot main character eventually bonds with.

These are all the turnarounds and references I made before production!
Turnarounds of an android character wearing scrubs and a headphone-stethoscope.
Turnarounds of a Shiba Inu puppy with a pale blue bandana.
Turnarounds of a doctor with glasses and short brown hair with bleach.
Two designs of a nanny android in a long skirt and a young girl in a blue and purple spotted sweater.
Turnarounds of a mangy dog, both sitting and standing, with and without bandages.
Several dogs, each with their own bandanas, in a lineup.
"The Last Hero" Original Story Turnarounds

Though this was finished for classwork, these characters are near and dear to my heart, and part of a larger story I'm developing.

"Cathy's Apprentice" Game Thesis Final Artwork

Also during my senior year, I had a thesis for my Game Development and Programming Minor.  I was the lead 2D artist on my team, from concept to final art. Our game ended up winning People's Choice Award at the 2023 GameSIG Intercollegiate Computer Game Competition.

These are the character designs and expressions I worked on for our silly fantasy RPG game!
